Parks and Garden Projects: since 2009

In her photographic work Elisabeth Wörndl investigates parks, botanical and private gardens to draw the attention to social and individual cultivation processes that may reflect cultural developments as well as emotional situations.

Parks/gardens stand for the contradiction between nature and art, between the artificial and the organic, between structured and unorganised life. The relation between city, nature and the artificial is in the centre of Elisabeth Wörndl’s artistic investigation.
